Greetings from the new owner/member from Maryland.

 

Welcome! I'm a new(ish) owner - got my '07 XK back in October.
There are plenty of opportunities to meet other car guys around - I know of these regular Cars & Coffee events in Maryland -

Saturdays - Maple Lawn ~7:30AM - 10:30AM, Sidamo Coffee & Tea 8180 Maple Lawn Blvd. Fulton, MD

Sundays - ~Annapolis 8:00AM - 10:00AM, Baltimore Coffee & Tea 890 Bestgate Rd, Annapolis.

Sundays - Church of the Holy Donut ~8:00AM - 11:00AM, Burtonsville Crossings.

Note that I do not regularly attend the above events, so check to make sure they have not moved locations.

The two I attend in Virginia, virtually every weekend, almost always have some Jaguar attendees.

JPC, welcome to the Mid Atlantic section. Keep an eye out. HOpefully this summer we can get another few events going to help get the members together. I am about 75 minutes south of you down in California, MD. So, if you ever need some help with the car, let me know. I am sure we can get you taken care of.

Thermo, good deal! I have actually have an issue that has only happened twice within the past 3 months. In following the rules of the site I guess it is best to post my concern in the proper forum right?

JPC, this is the right forum if you are asking questions about maryland state laws or something regional. If you are looking for answers as it relates to your car, I would recommend going a little further down on the main page and finding the "S-TYpe" section and they will have much better answers as it relates to your car.
