My 2005 VDP has 71,000 miles Does anyone recommend an auto warranty company. Also, are there XJ specific maintenance concerns as I approach 100,000 miles?

Opinions vary on your first question, although such policies are easier (& cheaper) to buy when your car is still under factory warranty. Search the forums for much more on this topic.

For your second question, use the search feature in the model forum for your year XJ8 (chassis code X350). Air suspension definitely comes to mind, for one thing!
