There's also an Imperial in Wilmette as well - excellent techs there as well. Obv same ownership, but the owner, Alan, works out of Wilmette in case you want to meet him.

 

+1 .......... I've bought all my Jag's from Alan and Leonard is the only guy who works on my car.... it's worth the extra drive to me.

 

Anybody know if this Leonard guy will work on the older stuff. I called Imperial Motors in Lake BLuff and they said they wouldn't know how to work on an E type.

I got my 04 SType from Lake Bluff as well.... I'm happy with my cat so far.. too bad the speed limits are so low....

Would anybody be interested in meeting up for a cruise or a meet in the Springtime? My car is put away for the winter right now but would like to get more use out of it in the Spring.

 

I'd definitely be up for a meet and greet, especially to get to see that E-type in person. Unfortunately I won't be back from deployment till late summer early fall if all goes well. A few weeks after that I should have the cat back up and running.

 

Sounds good. Let's touch base in late summer. Hopefully, the E type will be running better by then.

Glad you are doing well. You'll be sad to know that you've been missing some incredibly cold weather here in Chicago but we'll be sure to keep some cold weather around for when you return in Feb.

 

It was about 80 here today, I have a feeling I'll be freezing to death when I get home.
