Everyone is invited! It doesn't matter if you drive a Jaguar or a Dodge Neon! As long as you have a passion for Jaguars!


All attending please CHECK-IN in this topic. How many people will be with you? Interested in a restaurant meet after?

I will send you a Private message next week, asking for either a email or phone # so we can coordinate this better on the day itself to confirm you will be attending the meet. I don't want to leave early when 2 cars are still on the way.


Itinerary:

3pm - 4pm: We meet at Westfield Old Orchard Mall in Skokie, IL (4999 Old Orchard Ctr Skokie,IL60077) We can meet at the Nordstorms ( Intersections: Golf RD + Skokie Blvd) parking lot in the far end of the lot. This 1hr gives everyone time to meet + greet and for anyone who is running late

Great idea to try and get everyones mobile / cell number so you can liaise / keep in touch etc.
Its also a good idea ( I think you have it covered ) to try and meet somewhere central and on the way to the actual meeting point.....this way you can get a nice convoy going.....Always good

Things may be different over there, but can I suggest that a reasonably early meeting on the Sunday would be best, maybe around 10am? This means that guys coming without their other half's are good for more than a few hours as g'f's wives etc may be shoppping or have a girlie day out planned......its then all good, but, whatever you feel works best for you for sure.

One other thing and something to think about... Do you have any local Jag dealers in that area?
It might be worth contacting them to see if they'd be interested in hosting it ( at least for a while )
I've seen this done where the dealer may provide sandwiches and refreshments, possibly goodies / gifts etc and the chance to see new models around and or get to know the service / parts staff. It can be a good promotion for them as they may get business from it in future and could benefit both sides.........just a thought??

Can't make that date either, We will be going to the Iowa state fair that weekend, This is a great idea. If you want to do again later I would be interested. Aug 27 and the first two weeks of Sept won't work, vacation. Hope you can organize a run and it's successful.

 

If we do meet on the 14th we are having the Chicago Norton owners meet at the old zylastra Harley in St Charles. It would be neet to get all the British bikes and cars together.

Hi, sorry for not pushing the meet. Was really busy the past few weeks (closing of new home) etc etc. Will most prob be busy for the next two months as well. But, what does everyone think of a meet early Sept? Sept 9 , 10 or 11?

Anyone have some cool scenic areas to meet close to restaurants etc etc? Thanks!
