Default Indianapolis Area Independent Shop?

Greetings fellow Jag owners, can anyone recommend a shop in the Indianapolis/Carmel/Zionsville area?
Many thanks in advance,
Greg

Did you end up looking/buying one? Not sure what you are looking for but I'm in Indy and I am selling my 2008 XKR.

Still did not buy one.

If anyone is in area and has some time I'd like to get eyes on a car up there.

It was also recently services at Tom Wood so if anyone works there or knows someone I'd like to see if they know anything about the car.
If interested I'll send s link to it, otherwise trying to avoid any extra interest in car as price won't come down as much .

Any help is appreciated. XKR is nice, but not in the cards right now.

What's the price range you are looking at?

Under $10k, hopefully around $5 if possible. This is going to be a third car or a run around for me to hold me over until I figure out if I'm moving in a few months.

The maintenance doesn't scare me at all in these as I have done more. I'm assuming at this price I'll have a laundry list of things to do after purchase.

Has Tom Wood improved on their availability (ease of appt) on Jags since they moved?

Default Spitzer Automotive in Indianapolis?

My wife and I would like to employ the services of a reputable repair shop outside of the dealer for her Range Rover and my Jaguar. Anyone had any experience with the Spitzer folks?

I have not, but please let us know if you take your vehicle there and how the experience went. I'm also looking for a shop for both my Range Rover and my Jag.

they had an Alfa of mine for 6 weeks to fix a cylinder that was not firing. never fixed it, charged me 600 for the pleasure and when I finally gave up and went to pick it up, it was out back covered in dust. Hmmmm

A little late to the party, but I just talked to a neighbor who recently inherited an X308 that needed serviced. He recommended a shop called Autobahn Service Center in Greenwood.

I did not have a good experience at Tom Wood when I bought my used XF in. It sat for 3 days even though I had an appointment that I had to make 3 weeks in advance. They also charge a ton for the basics. Would love to hear if anybody has had better experiences there or elsewhere?

- sorry didn't complete my thought above, but has anyone tried Autopotenza LLC.? or have any other suggestions? I have a slow engine coolant leak and my local mechanic was not comfortable with the potential of having to do extensive work like removing the engine etc...

It's too bad you a lousy experience at Tom Wood. There's a tech there that's been a tremendous contributor to this forum (Steven Petry AKA xjrguy). That said, the prices Jaguar Dealerships charge are downright criminal, so I can relate. The only reason I can afford one is because I can do most of my own work.
