Anyone interested in joining me at Addison Oaks, MI on September 22, 2013?
The charity I raise funds for is holding an NF Walk for the Children's Tumor Foundation on this date and I thought it might be a great opportunity to have a Jaguar Meet as well!
Let me know if anyone of is is interested and if I get enough responses I will go ahead and get this moving.
If only a few of you are interested we can still meet there on an informal basis.

 

Hello Paul, Have you contacted the local Jag club? I am certain you can get a response out of those great folks. Jaguar affiliates of Michigan. They are alway looking for a reason to go for a drive. I live near the park so you can count me in. You are welocme to contact me for any additional info and left me know where your group is meeting in the park. Thanks Al Burger

I did not know that this group existed so I have just emailed Mike at "Jaguar Affiliates Group of Michigan" with the event details.
The event starts at 8:45 but I was thinking the the Jaguar Meet could start at 10:30. That way we would have cars there when the runners and walkers are finishing.
I am really looking forward to meeting you there and it would be great if we had quite a few Jaguars there as well.

 

Count me in. I wouldn't mind provide any help I can for the charity if needed.

We would be happy to donate some hats and t-shirts from the race team for the children and / or the club team if you would like.

Please post here if you are planning on attending. It looks like I have 4 Jaguar owners showing and the more the better it will be.
The park has agreed to lower the entry fee to $5 for this event, instead of $10 if you do not live in Oakland County.
Food and and drinks are provided.

I wouldn't mind going, but it depends on what my doc says, plus how I'm feeling. The other thing is I don't own a Jaguar just yet, but I can show up in my Lincoln Mark VIII LSC!

Thanks Jim!! I'm doing better actually, the next hurdle is the August 23rd CAT scan to see what it looks like inside the pancreas.

I would love to go and meet the local Jaguar owners!

 

I am a tech at Jaguar of Troy. I just talked about this event with my service director and he said if you would like he could have a F-type demo there and our parts department to setup a table with accessories, t-shirts, hats etc. Let me know and i give him the info.

 

Unless i don't make it back from the old country on the 20th September consider me there.
