Default Jaguar of Novi (Michigan) closing

Just thought I'd pass along an item of interest to forum members in SE Michigan. I just got an email from Elder Jaguar Land Rover that they're closing their Novi location. I believe we're going to be down to two US locations in the Detroit area: Troy and Macomb. (There's also a Jaguar dealer across the river in Windsor, Ontario, of course.)

Definitely a bit of a setback for those of us on the West or South side of Metro Detroit.

Default ... and Jaguar of Farmington Hills opening

We'll have a Jaguar dealer on the West side of Detroit again, starting next week. I just got an email that Jaguar Land Rover of Farmington Hills will have its grand opening on Thursday, March 24. The location is near the intersection of M-5, 10 Mile Rd., and Grand River Ave.

This dealership will be part of the "World of Erhard" group. They currently have a couple of BMW dealerships, one in Bloomfield Hills and one in Farmington Hills.

Here's a link to the Jaguar Farmington Hills dealership.

And here's their address and contact information:

38200 Grand River Ave.
Farmington Hills, MI 48335

Sales: (866) 413-9795
Service: (866) 219-3611
Parts: (855) 491-7223

For what it's worth, I just priced a heater hose for my XJR from both Jaguar of Farmington Hills and Jaguar of Troy, and the Farmington dealer wanted 20% more than the Troy dealer! Buyer beware.

I have been to the Macomb dealer a couple times now - Ask for Joe. If you are looking for a dealer that you can trust and not throw BS at you this is the dealer of choice. There is another dealer that I do not have any faith in - Thus the new choice. The drive is worth the service.

Default SE Michigan Service

I own 3 Jaguars now and owned many Jaguars over the years, The Auto Doctor in Southfield Michigan is the place to go, they always worked on British cars and specialized in land Rovers & Jags Bill Horning the manager was a former Tech from Jaguar of Troy and there are many other qualified technicians working there, the latest hire in 2013 is Jim that worked in Jaguar of Novi and Troy for 26 years
They believe in doing it right and using OEM parts but have other good options
They are using Autologic software so they can pull codes and program the latest cars
