Hello to everyone. I recently purchased a 2010 XF and am living in Michigan.
I hope I never need to visit but do know of any good shops in the metro Detroit area or is it best to stick to dealerships?

Also as winter will be here before I know it has do does your vehicle handle in the snow?

Welcome, XavierXF:

Congrats on the purchase. Can't help you with Detroit mechanics, but if you do a bit of digging in the regional section, you may find some recommendations already posted. As for winter handling… My XJ40 takes a long winter's nap, so I don't know! Actually, I did drive a different '40 through the winter once with good snow tires. Quite honestly, it was brilliant. Much better than I expected.

Cheers,
Scott

My driveway has less than a 5% slope & with snow it slides down to the street. On the streets I just exercise more care. Starting works well with the snow/traction control. Thank somebody this has been a mildWinter.
