Hello from the UK!
I'm a newbie on here, registering in the hope of being able to trace the history of this opalescent sand & tan 4.2 FHC 2 seater (VIN 1E34039), that I purchased in December 2017 and which finally landed with me 2 weeks ago.
Car is near enough complete apart from windscreen and 2 rear side glasses, but currently a non-runner (although hopefully not for long)..
I wanted to reach out to see if anybody remembers it, or its previous owners? There's 2 service stickers from 1973 around Winter Park, Florida, then only another 2650 miles or so before being laid up "around 1978 until 2015" - when it was bought from the widow of the original owner by (I'm told by the dealer I purchased it from, who'd bought it direct from him) a "Jaguar enthusiast from the East Coast who had a few other collector projects including an XK120)..
That's pretty much all I have to go on, but it would be wonderful if anyone knows anything about the cars' life story, its 2 owners up to 2017, or how I could possibly get in touch with them to fill in the gaps/ authenticate the info I have already??
