Where in NY is everyone from? Im in Queens. I hav ea bunch of cars and visit several shows and car meets for various different things. The weather is getting nice out.....You know what that means!

 

I'm from Medina, NY midway between Buffalo and Rochester where everyone else drives Pick Up Trucks and John Deere. Got pulled over last week at a Road Check. The local enfocement boys wanted a peek under the hood.

Bear Mountain is a great driving spot. Would I still be allowed up with the Miata; it's a more engaging vehicle to take to Bear Mountain .

You sound like you are somewhere near my sister-inlaw in Gilboa, NY. When we go up for a visit I love driving the back mountain roads and so does my cat.

 

Yep, that would be about an hour or so East of where I am. Some of the back roads around are most definitely a joy to drive around, spirited or no. Some of my best times are out just cruising the hills, around reservoirs, with no real destination!
