We bought this car about a month or so ago now. I've changed transmission fluid, greased the carrier bearing, filled the transfer case. We have a rear seal leak on the transfer case to be repaired in a week or so,

I spend a lot of time listening. The carrier bearing was noisy. The transfer case had only half the fluid it was supposed to have. The transmission wasn't having issues but at 74k miles I knew it should be changed.

Anyways. What I'm looking for is another x-type owner...or 2 or 3 or whatever.....so they can give me an objective listen. Let me hear what their x-type sounds like.

I think it's ok? But after chasing down these few issues I'm realizing I could use something to compare to.
Anyone in western NY that might be willing to meet for coffee or something and take a ride?
