Default Noob intro

Hello folks,
I am new to Jaguar ownership. I literally purchased my 03 S-Type on a credit card today. I know; whimsical at best, potentially disastrous at worst. I should have learned my lesson when I bought my '05 Elise. But no, I fell hard, Again, for British motoring. I am happy to say I was able to purchase the car one day after it was listed, as stick shift S-Types seem to be rare.
I also posted this to the new members section, hope the multiple posts are not deemed as "spam". Anyway, I look forward to learning more about my new car, as well as learning about this community.

Cheers,
Shamoon

We discourage multiple posting of the same technical question across different forums but an intro in the New Member forum and also in the relevant Region forum is perfectly acceptable.

Welcome! I don't have any good suggestions for local service or parts because I haven't found anyplace yet that's been any help. But our local Jaguar club plans a lot of good drives and events, you should check it out! https://www.seattlejagclub.org/

Welcome Shamoon. Our little portion of the forum has been pretty quiet since the Covid restrictions started. I know my own vehicle has gotten more garage time than ever. But hopefully next Spring people will start getting out again. Marco over at Northwest Car and Drivers Meetup has a lot of fun drives-not jag specific, but a few of us join him now and then
