Looking for Fellow Growlers in/around KY
First time Jag owner in Lexington, KY. Does anyone know if there is a Jaguar get together at the July Concours at Keenland Race Track or not? The British Sports Car Club always has a group there. I suppose you have to be associated with whatever club is displaying there.

Does anyone have a local (experienced Jag) mechanic? I'm working in cosmetics right now (seats grrrrr), but will need one in the future.

They are located just north of downtown Cincinnati in MaryMont.
For what it's worth I am in for any get togethers I live in downtown and drive back and forth between Louisville and Lexington on a regular basis
Tim,
I have not had a chane to visit them yet but European Motors was highly recommended by another Jag owner. They are at 964 Floyd Dr. and they have a website www.europeanmotorsinc.com
Cheers

Whoa, just a week away! Very tempting, but short notice... hmm.
I live in Versailles, Ky. just outside Lexington. Have a series III that I have owned for several years. I have replaced the Jag six with a LT1 from a wrecked Z28 and was in the process of body restoration when I picked up a 2005 XJR that has presently sidelined it. When I get the XJR to where I want it. It will get back to the series III.
I worked for Blackhorse Motors many years ago where I learned to appreciate the Jaguar.

I'm in Winchester, Ky just east of Lexington. I'll be at the Keeneland Concours show this Saturday, but I'll be showing my '69 Boss 302 Mustang. It's a great show if you've never been...I highly recommend it! Bring those Jags out, I'm sure they will have an area where you can park them together.
Hey Woodford Jag, I used to check out Blackhorse Motors as they always had something interesting! Do you ever do work now on others Jags?

Norm,
Thanks for the invite but I plan on being at the lake this weekend. The series III is under construction and the XJR is getting paint work done. My paint guy is good but slow. I hope to have it back soon.
Yes I have worked on some series III cars in the past but it has been awhile.

Norm,
Sorry I missed you yesterday. I drove the '33 Chev. to the paddock. I looked at all the 302 Bosses in various locations but didn't see any owners. Met the members of the Louisville club under the Jaguar flag and decided to sign up so I'll qualify next year. Seems like a great group of people, too bad we are so far away.

Yeah, sorry I missed you too. I had an Acapulco Blue '69 Boss 302 parked right next to the Corvettes and also had a Black '89 Saleen Mustang in the judged part of the show. So much to see, I was all over the place...and still didn't see it all!
I'm in Lexington regularly, but live about an hour south in Corbin.
This 01 XJ8 isn't my first Jaguar, but I'm having trouble finding someone locally to install a rebuilt valve body in the ZF transmission. Refilling the ZF is so complicated, I've had to start interviewing transmission shops before making the decision.
