...darn, I reglued the sunroof which worked well but the main headliner is starting to go now.

Any recommendations for a headliner replacement shop in the Houston area?

Try Quality Upholstery on 1960 at Bobcat Rd near Willowbrook mall. Did some work for me on the a-Pillars and Header on my XK8. Good job and reasonable price.

 

Based on bkkawazx9r's recommendation, I had my headliner and Pillars replaced/covered by Quality. They matched the fabric, and charged $500 for everything. Looks brand new. Thanks!

 

Late to the game, but if anyone needs a place on the north side (ie. Spring), then I can highly recommend Louetta Upholstery (2819 Louetta). They did the XK8 including the A-pillars for $400 cash a few months back. I actually think the work they did looks better than what came from the factory in 2003...they looked at what was in the car, cut a few swatches and then asked my opinion to confirm instead of just going with their gut instinct on the color match.

They will be getting the first crack at the headliner in the X-Type I just acquired and will also be inquiring about re-dying an abraded area (color is gone but no holes) on the driver's seat side bolster.
