Default Hello Dallas members

Hey there,

Currenty residing in Ga, north of Atlanta - but relocating to downtown Dallas this month. Lower Greenville area.

I have a 2011 XFR that, so far, has been good to me. Expect that’s because my extended warranty runs out in 2019. I have 68k miles now.

I am due for some maintenance. Specifically, I want to have the transmission serviced (fluid/filter and anything else while they are there). Can someone recommend a good Indy for this? Does it have to be a JLR Indy or could a good BMW shop do it?

I like to wrench myself and was planning to tackle, but by calendar stinks and I am just not getting the time.

Recommendations would be really appreciated - and any “avoid these shops” also.

I have been very happy with Jag Mac Jaguar. Russell has been at that location servicing nothing but Jaguars for over 30 years. Bonus: Gas Monkey is right next door so you can do some tourist stuff while you wait lol.

Hi there! I am in Dallas as well. I have used JagMac. Ian and Russell McInroy are father and son and know their stuff. They rebuilt my transmission about a year ago for half the price of the local Jag dealer.
Hope this helps
Dale

I bought my Jag from Park Place Jaguar that used to be located in Plano, they are now located in Grapevine over by the airport. I've always had good experiences having my car serviced with them.

I recently bought an 2014 XJ from an independent dealer, if I only have 37k miles am I still covered under the 50k warranty?
