How to replace from the top. Removing the ac compressor would have been easier, but then evacuation and recharging with freon would have been required
Removing top components and dropping the radiator 1 inch works fine, just be careful when removing fan assy. Called jag dealer re new thermostat housing gaskets
And was informed jag only sells the complete housing and hoses. $$185.00
Nuts, they are available for about $8, plus $18.95 shipping.
Well I got lucky stopped the leaking housing . So the alternator set me back $110.00 with lifetime guarantee at Napa
Removal took 6 hrs
Replacement about 4hrs
Savings about $900 yea
