Default Cats in the Garden -Los Angeles Arboretum 10/15

2017 LosAngeles County Arboretum

InvitationalDisplay of

Cat namedAutomobiles
In 2012 the LA County Arboretum held itís first in garden specialdisplay of unique automobiles. The eventfeatured Shelby Cobraís and was called Serpents in the Garden. This year the focus will be catís. The event is designed to bring together two worlds. Seeing vintage classic cars set by themselvesin a garden setting fascinates both the nature lover and the car-a-holic. The event even has a special challenge forkids. A scavenger hunt (of sorts) sendsthe kids looking for answers to questions located at each car. They then get a prize of a hot-wheelstoy. Another one for the kids is achance to have their picture taken (by their parents) sitting in a mini car.
This year the event will be held on Sat. Oct. 7th withthe cars moving into their special viewing locations just before publicopening. Each car owner will find agreat diversity of visitor asking questions and area photographers finding theperfect angle to capture the essence of each car with the perfect background ofthe garden.
To make the event evenmore special, at the end of the day, the cars will parade thru the garden.
This is NOT a concourse, the only trophy will be the satisfactionof sharing your pride with people that may not know what a distributor is. There is NO entry fee and the owner and up totwo other people will be admitted to the garden without charge. The Arboretum does charge for entering thegarden. It is important to have someone attend to each car during the day toanswer questions (and maybe pose with their baby)
We need a firm commitment to plan the locations. Prior to the event any owners that wish topreview the event may contact me to arrange a tour of the garden. There is an area for trailers if anyone needsor wants to come that way.
This is NOT a massive car show, we are only looking for around 30cars to illustrate the diversity of the roots of cat named automobiles. But at the same time this event has garneredsignificant attention from various groups. Your car will be in a select group cars that have been allowed insidethe Arboretum to park in their own private setting (almost all of them on thegrass)
Anyone who wishes may display an information poster withinteresting information or a story about their baby. The visitors find these to be mostinteresting and always start conversations.

There we are, Pleasecontact me regarding your interest in this event. We need to lock down the participants well in advance of the event, so your promptresponse is essential.

Thank you for your consideration
