Tirefriar and I get together on a fairly regular basis, as do Ralphwg (Pacific Palisades) and I, have a cup of coffee or go over on a Sunday morning to Supercar Sunday at the Woodland Hills Promenade. I am also in the Sherman Oaks area. I am taking my XKR coupe racing this weekend to Buttonwillow, but when I get back I'll speak with them as well as a few others who live in the area and see if we can't organize something.

I joined Ralph and David from Costa Mesa, yesterday, at the Jaguar USA preview at the L.A. Car Show at the Convention Center. Very nice day.

I noticed some folks are interested in the Cars and Coffee in Irvine. It is a great event and I have enjoyed a few visits. However, be advised that they no longer allow 4 door cars, (like my XJ8) to park in the lot with the other cars, unless they are from before 1980 or thereabouts.

The last time I was there I had to park in a nearby parking structure. They had allowed several 4 door Mazda 8's in, but excluded my Jag. I guess Mazda 8's are exotic in their eyes.

Hi everyone. I had hoped to put something together for this month, but I had two deaths in my family within 24 hours and had to arrange two funerals as well as house many of the out of town guests over the last two weeks.

I will work on a get together for January and see what works best for most of you.
