Possible new xk owner - need advice asap

hi all, need some honest info. im looking at the 2008 xk convertible, and love it. but everyone tells me the car will be in the shop all the time, costing my a ridiculous amount in service fees. is this really true??? please help

It is not true. Only problems are software. The XK has 4 year 50000 mile warranty. Covers everything but tires and brakes.
