What are the "quietest" tires for my 2006 XJ8 L?

I am looking for a soft, comfortable and quiet ride.

Not interested in mileage or performance

I'm the original owner of a 2007 XJ and the first replacement of tires was the Pirello P Zero Nero. Never again. Horrendous on the this car. Loud, poor wearing, etc. Next replacement was Firestone Firehawks. Better than the Pirellis but still not acceptable. The original Continentals that came with my car were the best although the longevity wasn't there (20K miles). Next I'll go back to the Continentals that came with the car.
