Yeah rain yet again.
This is really getting annoying, tough keeping a car clean.
So much crap on the roads!

New member and S-Type R owner here. I'll make there--if it's dry. of course.

BTW, please, WATCH YOUR SPEED if you're taking the 405 South and passing the Long Beach area. There are one or two CHiP smokies on patrol in that area every Saturday just waiting for over-enthused Cars 'n Coffee cruisers. One is in an unmarked car. Believe me, I learned the hard way last December.

Classic I have your name already up, I have been keeping up with the posts....

So whats it going to be rain or shine? this weather has been so wierd.....we go from sunny blue skies morning and afternoon to dark cloudy skies in the evening and then it dumps at night, to be blue and sunny again the next day.

I guess as long as it rains at night, and the vehicles are tucked on their garages its all good!

All our So Cal Guys could also look at meeting sometime soon at the Super Car Sunday in Woodland Hills. Its every Sunday and seems to be going really strong.

OK, thanks David.

The way I see it, these cars were designed to be driven in the rain--just a wee bit more carefully. But a torrential downpour is no fun. Let's play it by ear.

I'm going to run in the Santa Monica Sports Car Clubs TSD Rally tonight. I am not sure how late it's going to go, but if the rain comes in its going to make the long drive to Irvine in the early am much less inviting. So my reservation is a big maybe pending the weather.

Funny, I was there. That's my friend's silver 'n blue-striped '63 Drogo-bodied Ferrari GTO in the photo gallery. One of 2 in the world like it:

http://www.autoblog.com/gallery/supe...es-ferrari/#13

There were other Drogo-bodied GT's and GTO's during that era, but most of them were the ugly "Breadvan" style with the big square window in back. This one is slick, smooth, and gorgeous!

Anyway, back to Jaguars...
