Default Xk120 Brake Job

Need advice on Wheel and Main Brake cylinders for my late 1953 Xk120 Roadster. Should I have White Post sleeve the cylinders or purchase new ones? The vehicle hasn't operated in 20 years and I'm going through TLC project, I have it running but several wheel cylinders have leaked. I've been told to Use DOT 4 fluid, some many of the parts come out of China and threads and fitting issues seem to be a problem. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. george

I used to be a part owner of a shop that did quite a bit of work on classic Jags; we always used White Post. Their rebuilds carry a lifetime warranty as I recall and are finished to original specs.

Don't put aftermarket components on a very valuable car... You will end up regretting it.

Good luck with your repairs/restoration!
