When I have tires mounted on Jaguar OEM 20 inch Sepang wheels am I correct to assume that the lug nuts and center caps from my 18 inch Dynamic wheels will fit?

Do I need any thing additional to mount tires on these wheels? Special valve stems? Some sort of special "Nut Covers"? or "Nut Cover Tool? These are going on a 2004 XJ8.

Any info on mounting tires on these Sepang rims (without the "trim rings") would be appreciated by any of you folks who have these beautiful rims.

 

Well, I can say that the center caps will fit because to the best of my knowledge, Jaguar has kept the same size since the Xj40.

Now, the lug nuts may need to be changed, depending on the depth? or thickness? of the rim. I know that one would need different lug nuts if putting another rim on my car (1997 Xj6L) because the stock rims come with longer lug nuts.f

Everything else should work out okay. It should look pretty good with those Sepang wheels. I do like those.

 

I think you'll be just fine on those Sepangs onto your 04 XJ, I've seen them added to other XJs of your age, nobody mentioned any problems with lugs. I feel good about em.

Nothing else special needed.

 

Thanks for your input guys. The Sepangs will be here sometime this week and I'm really looking forward to having them installed. I'm going with Hankook Ventus V12 tires.

I was going to choose Continental Extreme Contact DW but I've read good things about the Hankooks and they are a real bargain right now and with a $50 rebate that's icing on the cake.

I'll post my opinions when I've run them a bit.
