Default suspension problems

I had been noticing suspension rattles and such in addition to the car being super low upon initial starting after sitting. Well a few days ago I saw a puddle under my car but the ride height was actually not at all lowered and has remained normal. Anywho, I had tires installed today (nt05-nitto) and saw my bushings were destroyed... but there are no signals on my dash. The little research I've done leads me to believe I may need a whole new kit? Or can bushings do it?

What is your mileage, what color was the puddle, and how long have you had the car?

Those boots hold in grease so without the grease you will get rapid wear of the metal bearing surfaces. It will not show up as an error code.

That's the front upper arm assembly I recently replace mine with a lincoln ls upper arm assembly ordered online. It's a direct fit. This part of our suspension are purely mechanical that's why you dont have any error codes. But if it's really worn out rattle can be heard.

I ordered the lemforder brand upper arm assembly which I heard is also the one who manufactured for jaguar.

Pink fluid sounds like coolant for sure. The only other possibility is power steering leak.

My coolant is yellow and I am not sure what color my power steering fluid is.

It is possible to buy new rubber boots for these ball joints, assuming the joint is still in good condition. Cheaper than a new arm ! However, if the inner trunnions have also gone then a new arm is best.

I found them on eBay. Around 130.00 per arm. All my boots looked like yours. 2006 with 99,000 at the time.
T-Bird, Lincoln LS, and S type all share most parts with XJ.

Look for the same year as your car. They can be had for less than $50.

You might want to avoid Deutche Parts. I don't have personal experience with them but I've read some bad reviews.

Just go to eBay and type in 2005 Lincoln LS front upper control arm and plenty will pop up.
