Default Gloss Dark Grey Finish Peeling on Wheel

Anyone had this happen to their Gloss Dark Grey DT Finish wheels ? Not sure how long it has been peeling but I just noticed when I was cleaning them. Could be worse, looks like the back underneath is a really nice gloss finish that would probably look just as good as the dark grey and be more durable. I looked closely at the other 3 and no signs of peeling at all.
Can I use the RustOleum Aircraft remover to remove the finish to expose the Black underneath ? Aircraft Remover I'd get a quart so I can brush it on.
