Default Rims and Tires

Just bought a set of tires and rims that came off an XJ 108 x 5
bolt pattern and 60 offset, 24 spoke with almost new ContiproContact
245/40-18's I hope they fit the STR is not they'll find a new home on the S

Did you find they fit? because I don't believe they will fit either. The S cars had different bolt patterns from the Xj's. Of course, they did change that Xj pattern in 2004, maby to the S bolt pattern?

These wheels were originally from an 05 XJ and then on a 2001 S that the owner traded in with the original 16 inch wheels. Didnt get a chance to trythem out yet. I should get to it this weekend.

THE WHEELS FIT THE STR!
The front tires are identical to the OEM. The rears are 18x8 now instead of 18x9.5 but they fit nicely too. 30mm thinner than the original 275's but the diameter is close to the same. The wheel spokes clear the rear Brembo brake by about 1/4". The ride is nice, its good to have an all season tire instead of a HP Summer tire. It was snowing lightly today.
