I have a 2003 Jaguar x-type low mileage care v6 2.5l awd. Strat throwing a p1107 engine coolant temperature circiuit low input failure. Symptomatically it goes in to an overheat condition with the engine running close to normal tempeature throw engine light.

Fans are good.

I think I have located the RTD up on the rear of the radiater, however auto zone twll me there are two unit, the RTD and the sending unit to the ECU.

Just need clarification what p0117 referes to and wxactly whewer the are located at.
