I have an 04 X-Type with a 3.0 liter engine. When you reach 3000 rpm it's like you hit a rev limiter. There are no codes. Any suggestions?

 

Should be the other way around. 3,000 is when it should start running strong.

 

I have been told that this could be in "reduced power mode". Ther are no codes in the ecm but the abs light is on. I have been told that abs or traction control problems can cause reduced power mode. Any one know anything about this?
