Mirror got trashed in parking lot. Remote mirror adjustment no longer works. Want to get used replacement. Anyone have pointers about removing old and installing new. Fasteners concealed. Diagrams?

Hi mate. theres a detailed and pictured set of instuctions on how to remove the door panels here on the X type section. From there on its easy, afew screws to remove the mirror then fit and plug the new one in. When youve taken it off, count how many wires there are going from the plug connector to your mirror. Then if you get a new on off ebay etc, make sure the new one has the same, as theres many different type mirrors. I think they all fit but if you dont have enogh wires then things wont work ie, power fold, heated glass etc but its just a case of plug in and away you go. Good Luck.
