No probs somekidz.........just nice to see another regular poster...lol

Thats what I meant about you an 04, maybe Gotti an a few others, I don't know.
for the sake of some real wow factor ( and they do look great) you guys must go thru so much time n money n hassle........new tyres a lot more than most.
Then on top of all that ........you gotta drive the thing with kid gloves cos your scared of the noises, the rubbing, the damage an the cost.
I know its a compromise n all.......looks traded for handling n ride... I just think maybe there's more cons than pros.

Hey somekidz.......don't let me put you off bro.......They look great an if thats who you are, well then, thats who you are!
I always think you guys have some great ideas too though.
Like how a few of you have a set of rims with certain tyres for the summer, n a set of different rims ( usually stock) with certain tyres for the snow + winter.
We generally have a set of tyres n rims n thats that....lo

Really not that bad 04.......honestly!
X6 JYM on the A6 was £500 on the car and it yours for life, only an £80 cost when you wanna change it over to another car.
T15 ESS for the wife which is on the X was only £250 on the car, same rules apply.

Got that right 04......can be absolute nuts for some of em.
I was looking at JC 32 a while ago. It was starting at auction at £3400.........probably went for that and then some!
I saw one today 3T .......I bet that cost a small fortune.
Basically, the less letters n numbers the more costly they are. Also anything that spells a name costs a bomb too.
But, on the plus side, they're yours for life no mattaer what car you have. They can also be a good way of hiding a cars age.
Like the X for example. Its an (02) now 5 year old car, was 4 years odd old when I bought it in mint condition with 16k miles on it. Putting the plate on the car I'd defy anyone looking at it to say it was anything over a year to 2 years old

Maybe we should start a thread about private / personalised / vanity plates?
Who's got em, any real good ones out there either for the car or the individual?
Although there seems to be a lot of people not too happy about showing their plates?

Yeah I'm not either...don't know why??? I'd imagine you'd have to be a cop to actually do anything with it...

Re the showing of your plates on your vehicle ( or not )........I'm guessin its all about cars being cloned.
Another X out there with your plate on it involved in a getaway / bank job or sumthin.
Personally, I reckon if they want to clone a car they'll clone it. They will get a match from some database or other anyway.
