2002 x type 2.5 engine question

2002 x type 2.5 engine question

When you remove the black plastic engine cover. Is there supposed to be a clear plastic bag that appears to be woven into the top of the engine?

If so what is it for?

yes, its supposed to be around the headers, in the back part of the engine, its supposed to keep the decipate the heat, its just a way of keepin the temp in the engine bay down

Yep,that's a beauty cover ,they also use it for hiding the engine( in some washing machine engine sized cars )so that owner not to be disappointed in case he/she lifts up the hood
