When it rains it pours. While replacing a belt tensioner pulley and serpentine belt I found a broken sway/torsion bar link broken(vertical plastic piece beside the strut)broken in half. Why would any mfgr. use a piece of plastic for a suspension part? Seem rather foolish to replace it with another piece of plastic. This car is basically falling apart as fast as I repair it. They certainly don't make things to last anymore. All I do is work on this car. I used to LOVE working on cars. Not this one.

 

The OEMs are cutting cost wherever they can. Consolation is that part is easily replaced. You might look at what RockAuto has for replacements. You might find a metal link there.
