Does anyone know how to disconnect the front bumper wiring harness connector?

While trying to take out the front bumper cover, I got stuck unable to disconnect the wiring harness.

I followed the instruction (pic 1).

The actual harness has a red tab that can slide from the middle of the connector to the back as shown in pic 2. I cannot pull apart the connector in either position, and there does not appear any place I can further press or squeeze.

Resolved!

The solution is after sliding the red tab back (as shown in pic 2), jam a screwdriver blade into the vacated spot and push down and forward to dislodge the connector. The harness part is FBB by the way.

I'm glad you got it figured out. I had the same problem and after walking away and having a cold one did just as you and apart it came. I was doing a headlight overhaul when I encountered that pesky devil.
