Default 2003 Xtype Stereo

I have a 2003 X type with Navigation and the Cd changer stopped working. I replaced it with a used one, but I think I "tripped" the security code. My question is; can the used CD changer be re-programmed to work with my exisitng stereo/navigation or will I have to buy a new one from the Jaguar dealer.

Thanks

jrm, odds are, because you have mixed and matched components, this will more than likely require a trip to the dealership to have them reprogram the audio system to acknowledge the new changer. Unfortunately, that will probably be about a $100 trip (minimum shop time). So, if you need some other work done at the dealership, this might be a good time to have it done. I wish the answer was better, but you can thank your local thieves for that and the lengths that manufacturers have to go to so that it makes stealing higher end components not worth it.
