Hello everyone,
I want to thank you all for being so helpful in the past, but yet again I have another issue that I seek your expertise.
my transmission went out in my 2002 2.5 x-type and checked with the dealer here about the recall issue and they say it had been fixed already due to recall a few years back (previous owner).
so what I am asking is I found a working transmission low mileage for pretty cheap out of a 2004 x-type 3.0. Would it swap in (electrically). I know physically yes, but I don't know of the electronics are interchangeable.
