2005 Noise when A/C is on
Hello all-
I am having a problem with a strange noise every time I turn the A/C on. From past experience, it does not sound like a bad compressor, and It did seem like one of the tensioners is wobling. I added 3 oz of PAG oil to the compressor, just in case it's about to check out so i can extend its life, but I really don't think it's the compressor. Is there a particular pulley in there that could be aggravated by the A/C ? Do I need to tighten the belt? Any opinions ?
thanks.

If you don't think that it is the compressor itself then it could be any of the other
belt driven devices. Try removing the belt and check that everything spins
smoothly including the compressor pulley. Try running the engine without the
belt and see if the noise has gone away.
