Question 2005 X Type 3.0 AWD - how to replace TCM?

Last year my transmission control module got wet and burnt out. I had it replaced for $800. $200 for the TCM and $600 for diagnosis and repair. it faile again three days ago. I am looking to buy a used working TCM and would appreciate help locating, removing, and replacing the defective unit. any help or videos on doing this would help. So far I have gotten a quote for a used unit on-line from CA for $200.

HELP!

ps. I am new to this site.
