Default 2005 x type navigation system

The compass on my 2005 x type navigation system is pointed in the wrong direction. Is there a way to reset or fix it?

Are you sure the NAV map is set for the correct country (region) in settings?

The fix for the normal compasses in cars (rear mirror, etc. type), you go to an empty parking lot and drive around in circles 3-4 times to reset it.

By "wrong" direction I am guessing you mean a direction you don't prefer. Generally those systems allow you to orient the view different ways. Have you checked the owner's manual or checked in the view settings how to change the orientation?

there is an option for the compass to show true north or rotate as the map moves.

Instructions are not in your owner's manual, they are in the nav/phone handbook =
