2007 Jaguar X-Type TPMS
I have a 2007 Jaguar X-Type and access to JLR SDD. Was wondering if anyone knew if TPMS could be added to the car and what all is needed? Do I need a different module added, or is just a programing change in SDD plus tire pressure sensors?
You would need to add the senders in each wheel rim, an antenna at each wheel, a body module and all the wiring to connect each antenna. The body harness is different with or without TPMS, and there are front and rear aerial coax harnesses. The module and harnesses are all NLA so it would be a major project to change.
i was about to post what dell posted.
there are many aftermarket tpms systems available which utilize valve stem caps for a super simple and cheap way to monitor.
ive seen them as low as $15 on aliexpress.
i plan to get one, just figuring out which one i want as there are many styles and prices out there.
some are solar, some are hardwired (the receiver)
