Default 2008 Grille and Boot Plinth: Proper Unveiling for Some New Items from Minagallery.com

I thought this warranted a new thread. As a side note, Chris at Mina has been awesome to deal with and got me this 2008 UK-only part pretty quickly. Thanks Chris!

Here are finally some better pics of the grille and plinth. I had a few camera focus issues, but these are decent:

Now let me know if you like these pieces. It's never fair to judge with really crappy pics. These are only somewhat crappy pics.

Did you get the full body kit plus the wing and light covers? I've said it before and I'll say again - best xtype jag rolling.

Looks fantastic. But still feel the leaper doesn't work with the rest of the aesthetics. Beautiful car

Beautiful X type as I've said before

The new grille looks nice, but being super critical ( and just my opinion ) the leaper doesn't work for me. I'm not convinced on the eyebrows either as it makes the car look kinda sleepy......add a lower mesh grille to finish it off for me.

Still probably the best lookin X type out there

Looking good Exexpat. The first few pics you posted in the other threads with the grill didnt look good to me, but in these pics the grill looks good and flows with the car. nicely done.

I don't really like the leaper either, but that is what we get from the factory in the US and I don't really want to repaint my hood to get rid of it. Is there something else nice or flat to cover the hole from the leaper?

I think you can get growler badge that is a replacement for leaper off of ebay. were the front fender side vents a easy install or did it take some body mods i love that look and what model did they come from i have seen them on a couple models?

That looks alot better than the other thread's pics,

You took off the reverse tailight tint? I take it ya wanted to match the plinth a little more, Looks great.

I like these rims better, they look meaner with the dish.

Show quality work once again. (applause)

Bonus points for paying attention and answering correctly. I had the license plate cover off briefly too, but it was too white and I would prefer it to look silver

Not a fan of the Mina Gallery grill. However, the stock 2008 grill I do like. I think Adamesh still sells them out of the United Kingdom....

yup adamesh still has them, but with the new 08 grille I think the leaper is an overkill. IMHO

I hate the wide mesh of the factory 2008 one. Ideal would the OEM one with the tighter Mina mesh. One thing I won't do is the 2008 bumpers. I puked in my mouth the first time I saw those.

Someone does need to make a better leaper delete option- not green or red or round. Hood replace or repaint with fill is the best option from what I can tell.

Looks awesome, I'm way more sold on it now with some better pics. Lose the leaper and eyelids (with this grille) and you can stick a fork in it..

Ok mphy98..... look on the bonnet ( hood ) and you'll see the "leaping Jaguar"...more commonly referred to as the leaper
