3.0 in a 2.5

I just came across a 3.0 xtype and tranny for 900..i got him down to 700 for both,im not sure if its somthing im interested in just an inquiry..Would i be able to swap the motor with no hassels..I wouldnt be doing it myself.It seems the best safest way to get more hp....i can get the motor for five..is their a diffrent electrical setup.I'm thinking i can just pull out this one and plug in te 3.0...lemmie know

Hey Irish....

Im doing a swap in my Jag that is a 3.0 with a Lincoln LS engine as stated in this thread im supplying you with. He had a 2.5 liter. He claimed he didnt have to change computers and stuff. So im thinkin you will be good to go.

You may need the wire harness tho??? Not sure. Although he used his own???
