Default 3.0L - Misses while idling ...

I have an 04 XType 3.0L with 140,000 miles. While it runs flawlessly at speed, it has started to "stumble" while idling. It acts like it will stall then recovers and runs fine. It was intermittent but now has become pretty regular. Any ideas?

Most likely possibility might is a throttle body fault - is the butterfly sticking around the idle position?

Astromorg, I presume the Throttle Body can be cleaned with a quality Throttle Body cleaner/spray? If so, I'll give that a try this weekend. Thanks!

Yes, but be gentle! The throttle body bore has a special molybdenum coating that can be damaged by over vigorous rubbing!
