Default ABS Relucter Ring

When I first bought the car the brakes made a loud knocking and banging noise. I changed the front discs and pads as they were in a sorry state. The noise still remained. With lots of googling it was narrowed down to the ABS Relucter Ring. I ordered 2 rings then went to have a look at mine to see how hard they were going to be to get off(rusty bolts etc...) however there is not any on the front drive shafts. Have they simply snapped and left or does the Xtype have some other type of ABS on the front? Sorry if this question sounds stupid im still learning(slowly!!!)

Chris, the reluctance rings are only for the rear cv shafts. The fronts us a portion of the wheel bearing to do the speed sensing.

Thank you, I will replace the rear ones and give the front brakes and sensor a clean up see how it goes.
