AC blows hot after battery disconnect

AC worked fine before I did the first phase ATF change. Had the battery out for a few hrs and now it blows HOT on max AC. I did the 10 second reset. No change to AC.

Does the cooling fan come on when you turn the A/C on?

I did the reset again, this time touching the + & - cables, left the battery disconnected for an hour or so, and now the AC blows cold. Geez....
