I recently purchased a 2003 X-Type. I've always loved those cars and I'd like to bring it up to speed. Needs some work. I have a new O2 sensor to install which may be causing this problem: I have to let the car run for about 5 minutes if it's been sitting for a few hours. Otherwise, it has a rough idle. My question, though, deals with the AC. If the AC (I live in South Florida) is on and the fan is set 2 bars or more, sometimes the fan will go to a lower speed. After a few seconds it will go back to the selected speed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Automatic on? (Lit light), if equipped with nav, climate button will let you manually override on screen.
