Just wondering if any of you have tried PIAA white bulbs as replacements in your headlamps, and if you've had good luck with them? I'd read that the X-Type has a voltage surge at start that destroys non-OEM bulbs, but I thought I'd ask in case people have found that to not be the case.

I saw a Japanese car driving a few nights ago with white bulbs - it looked great, and seemed like a fairly simple upgrade.
