After 16 years of faithful service, my inside rearview
mirror showed a fluid level. In anticipation of the acidic
leak, I removed it per Motorcarman's excellent
instructions, posted at Jag-lovers.org years ago. Sent it off to Sybesma.

Got it back within a week, re-installed it per Motorcarman's
instructions, and it is flawless. Even the automatic
headlight feature works (which their website cautioned might
not be the case).

My thanks to Motorcarman for this help, and his many other helpful postings.

Mine's currently @ Sybesma as well.

 

I asked because Motorcarman has accurate and up to date information.


I did a quick look at Sybesma site - did not see mirrors .. how is it listed?


Mine is currently working fine except I have a slight crack in the rear housing that I believe is going to cause problems.

 

Very clearly listed as "Rearview Mirror Rework & Exchanges" under services.
