Armrest button poping out!

Armrest button poping out!
On my 2005 X-type one of the two buttons on the armreat keeps
poping out. The other one stays in as it should. Both work
properly. What keeps the buttons in? There does not appear to
be any broken plastic. It is possible that there is a piece missing
but what?
