Default ATF Leak

Hello all, my 2003 X-Type 2.5 with 156,000 miles has developed an ATF leak. I had the fluid changed approximately 6 weeks ago, and would like to know if there are common areas where leaks occur and if so what are the fixes. Thank you in advance!

Problem with autobox just after a fluid change is maybe not just a coincidence

Was the fluid change done properly? - that is, was the level checked at the correct temperature, with the engine running and with the 'box in N?

Was the level plug in the base of the 'box used?

Maybe it's been overfilled and venting the excess off?
