Default avh-100dvd seemingly doesn't fit

I got the DDIN kit off amazon and tried to install a Pioneer AVH-100DVD into my 2005 x-type. When feeding it back into the dash it won't go all the way back.

I can't find the dimensions on the avh-100dvd but it seems like it might be too deep.

Ice, what exactly is your question? I think you are asking if anyone knows the depth of the dash where the head unit fits, but if your unit doesn't fit then I imagine you are either off by however many inches it sticks out or something is in the way and you just need to move it. Maybe wiring or something.

You could measure the depth of the dash opening by the edge of the opening to whatever is the first thing the back of the unit would touch.

I don't know exactly what will fit, but maybe something near 10.5"x9.5"x6.5"

Some double DIN units are too deep for the Jag, they hit the heater pipe at the back
